Papa's Pizza featured on TV3 News when the Auckland Council asked local businesses to pay around $7,000 for late closing hour permits during the Rugby World Cup.

Papa's Pizza was recommended in the Weekend Herald by Arna Martin and Jeff Kennedy. "Opposite Eden Park, it's going to be madness when the World Cup crowds find out about it. They do wholemeal pizza bases and the most devine toppings. We'll walk up there and sit in the back garden." (11/12/2010)
